Logistics and access
The M4 and M40 give excellent access to most of the Thames Valley, with the A34 connecting north and south Oxfordshire efficiently. Build schedules for rural Thames Valley sites are generally straightforward once the access route is confirmed.
The Thames Valley is approximately 60 to 90 minutes from our base, depending on the specific location. This is factored into the schedule and, for sites at the outer edge of the area, into the quote.

Standard permitted development rules apply for temporary structures on private land — up to 28 days per year without planning permission. The Chilterns AONB covers a significant portion of the northern part of the region; for events on AONB land, we recommend a brief check with the local authority where the structure will be prominent in the landscape. For sites within our regular working area, travel is included in the quote. For sites at the outer edge — western Oxfordshire, the Wiltshire border — a modest travel cost may apply. We will confirm this clearly at the quotation stage.

Yes. We have delivered events for significant guest counts at estate and country house venues across the Thames Valley. Large clear-span structures and multi-structure configurations are part of our regular work. The site visit is where we confirm what is achievable on the specific property.
What is the lead time for booking a Thames Valley summer event?
Twelve months is comfortable for peak summer. We take bookings further in advance for properties with strong demand and shorter notice where availability allows. If you have a date and a site in mind, the best first step is a call to confirm availability.
